Would also like to be able to set only a certain day for an item. For example there is a long duration project and I set aside Tuesday each week to work on it.

Some tasks can take multiple periods of time to be finished. For example:
-Marketing campaign
--Duration 1: November 3rd - November 10th
--Duration 2: November 15th - November 20th
Both durations should be visualized in Timeline, Gantt, Workload. Separate bars, but same item. Also ensure moving first schedule affects other schedules accordingly.
