Mollie Kinney good news - we are already in progress on this one. Expect to get this improvement mid October.

Reactions to Comments
Mollie Kinney
It would be helpful to have a reaction button, similar to a social network. This would be used as an acknowledgement that a comment was received.
For instance, I leave a comment on a task and tag the user letting them know there's additional information. If they can 'react' with a thumbs up then I know that they have seen and acknowledge that they've seen it. Same goes for comments that go the other way.
Alternatively and or in conjunction, if the system auto noted 'who saw this comment' then there would be no confusion.
Basically, I'm tired of hearing 'i didn't see the notification' and need to understand why and if that's accurate.

The ability to acknowledge comments on a task with an emoji

I'm thinking like Teams, Facebook, Outlook, etc, where you can "like" a post. This would be useful as a way to acknowledge that you've read a colleague's comment on a task. Potentially use the basic emojis eg. like, love, celebrate, laugh, surprised, sad.

Just like in Slack, right? Bonus question: should this reaction generate a notification to the user?

Vidas: Yes, exactly. And yes, I think it should generate a notification. Potentially users could configure how they want to receive the notification too - either receive just within Teamhood, or an email as well.
