Yes please. The current method of automatically changing dates isn't intuitive to me. Certainly, milestones should always be able to be fixed. Working within a larger organization, many times some events/milestone dates are outside of your control and are the prime drivers of the rest of your project schedule.
This feature is very important.

Lock milestone date
Billy De Lange
Hi! Would it possible to add an option where a milestone's date can be "locked"? This is to make sure that a fixed due-date (like a commitment to a customer) is not accidentally changed by other related tasks timelines that are moved.

This could be possible as a configurable setting. I will wait a bit to see if it catches more attention from other users.

Vidas: Hi,
by planning and using of guiding/managing baselines is needed sometimes to lock milestone date because the milestoned event is being done exactly in very that day. By planning comes easy to replaning of all events/ tasks according of baselines which connects them together. We are going to use it for Material´s milestone, which is ordered and will be delivered to the exact date. We do not want to loose the position of milestone by replaning works in Teamhood.

Petr Bár: easiest workaround for now would be not to add dependency arrow to milestone, just let it be. If you replan predecessor items - it will not be affected.

Vidas: Lock milestones is a needed feature because it helps to plan and keeps important dates fixed.
