Would be great to have an area at the Dashboard where you can quickly add tasks ... for example named "INBOX". Every task in the INBOX is automatically scheduled for "today" and automatically "assigned to me. Makes it easier when u are working in many workspaces. Imagine you are in a discussion or you just have this quick idea ... leave it in the inbox quickly. You will never forget this task because "U" definitely have to do it "today". Even if you just take your time in the evening and set up the task as it has to be.

We have released functionality called My Notes. This should fulfill quite a few points discussed here. I am closing this request and if something is missing I will recreate separate requests. Please share your feedback whether it matches your expectations and if it fulfills the necessary use cases. Sting Max Brad S Konia Tyler Webster Kaya Huckstep prima prova

sry ... one more idea ;)
Some guys in our team help their self writing a chat message to their own MS Teams Account. At the end of the day, they check their own chat and transfer the tasks manually into teamhood.
Would be awesome to be able to write a message to the "teamhood-inbox-ChatBot" ... while the chatbot leaves the task in the INBOX as explained before.

Michael Bielat: good points Michael, I am reading everything and conceptualizing how to move this thing forward. The biggest challenge is scope/size of such use case, but nonetheless, I'll keep you posted on progress.

Hey Vidas!
The Inbox would makes it much easier to quickly leave tasks in teamhood with the MS Teams connector. Only 3 steps
- Message: "add item"
- Write down item detail
- Choose INBOX
"INBOX" has to be a separate selection box -> Fast and easy to choose.
When ever you tick the selection box "INBOX" there's no need to choose
- Due Date
- Location
- Assign me
That's it =)
Best regards and have a great weekend!

I am very happy that you like the idea. I can well imagine that working in more than one workspaces can then be made even easier with this feature. Even when using devices such as mobile phones and tablets, it will be easier to set ideas and tasks "on the go". As soon as you are back in office, you can manage the "inbox". ... Why do i call it INBOX ... Tasks should be without any location because you set them right after the idea. At this point I'm not even sure if i will be the person who's gonna deal with the task. And ... Sometimes it's not even clear which workspace is the right one - but, you really want to set this task fast. Would be nice to be able to choose the location while you set the task.
I wouldn't call it "My Tasks" because "MY Agenda" is nearly the same. And tasks which you create in "INBOX" will end up in MY Agenda anyway.
... The most important is:
- Set the task very fast on the main Dashboard (or have a flying button like the one we have to start timetracking)
- After the task is set you always are the owner
- After the task is set YOU will have to do it TODAY (that's why it will end up in MY AGENDA ... which is nearly the same like "MY TASKS" ...)
... great to have:
- Be able to choose the location with a dropdown. The same dropdown we have when we "change location".
If you like we can have a quick chat on zoom or teams. We were planning to do that anyway ;)
Best regards

Amazing idea. Can you elaborate why would you call it inbox? What about just "My tasks" where you see all tasks from all workspaces, but also have a dedicated section for just your personal "checklist"? Also, do you want to put tasks to specific workspace or they should be without location, just "inbox/my tasks"?

Vidas - I see ‘inbox’ as tasks that are like emails I read and then marked as unread so that I come back to them as they need some consideration before being replied to. It’s something a lot of productivity YouTubers promote as part of their Getting Stuff Done process. A lot of the time you need a place to jot down thoughts that aren’t fully formed yet, so you can come back to them later. Hence why I suggested that for an app the main features I would like to see are an inbox and a task list.
