Need a way to recover descriptions/texts in case it gets deleted or changed by mistake, like a version control

When a description is deleted or changed, we can't recover it... that's a little annoying sometimes, there should be some sort of a version control.

I have had way too many instances where someone accidently overtypes a description or click delete and the entire ticket is lost. There needs to be ideally an undo an tracking of the descriptions in the logs.
