parent item to convert to child item

At the moment we can convert a child item to a parent item but I can't find a feature to convert a parent item to a child item. This would allow to better organise the board.

there is no such menu option, but you can drag and drop in Kanban sub-child status group, list view or gantt view. Another "workaround" is to add item as waiting or blocking dependency and then in item details change it to child via drag and drop. Nonetheless, your comment is valid and we have this improvement on our radar, just need to select quite a nice UX option so it is not that tedious compared to existing workarounds.
