On the kanban board the progress is nicely shown in the "closed" items. Since I have a lot of items with synced copies, I would like the calculated progress to be shown somewhere in the card / on the screen while I have the item open.

I would add that it is probably not only for progress but in general for all the fields - if item has an accumulated value from child items or synced copies. That accumulated value should be shown in detailed screen, not only on card itself.
