are you interested in getting a graphical presentation of workload, just in xlsx format, or are you interested getting the data so that you can do your own analysis/math on top? The second, data only, option is far more viable and doable IMO.

great, then we just need to align on the actual data to be exported.
I can start with a proposal to export the following structure:
Item ID, Item Title, Start date, Due date, Assignee(s), Tag(s), EstimatedHours, Board ID, Row ID
We would offer .csv export for this case.

as per your example it is a two dimentional structure, that definitely requires something more human readable like XLSX format.
With .csv we would focus mainly on plain data, formatting/presentation of that data would be totally on you.
Based on your example I already see that we have more ways to structure the data.
Option A - less data rows, one data row per item (as in workload itself) and it tells when item starts/ends, how many hours estimated, which user(s) assigned.
Option B - more data rows, one data row per user per item with start/due dates and estimation
Option C - even more data rows, one data row per user per item per date. User, item, date, hours for that date.

we have a refinement next week, I will bring this one in and see what can be done. Everything will depend on the scope. Will inform you once I have a decission in our product team.

two more questions:
- What is a project in your case? Board?
- We will not export all the data (which means infinite future). Hence we need to limit how far into the future we take data. My proposal is to take from today + 4 next periods based on zoom level (day, week, month, quarter). Maybe for days it can be more, like +20 days.

Thank you. I have documented this request and placed it among other customer requests. That means we will do it. But, I cannot tell what is the ETA at least for now, since there is a fine list of other requests already in the line. Where higher upvote numbers or paid subscription plan influences that priority in the queue.
